Charles, I like your video and I agree with you. I too have seen some ugly sites that get traffic which leads to sales. For such a LONG time I obcessed with having glistening and over the top colorful websites that just screamed, HEY look what a talented Illustrator and graphic artist I hired LOL…I think first impressions are still important, but I finally came to the realization that traffic, traffic, traffic lead to conversions, not just having a pretty website….ie sales..
Keep up the videos

Hi Charles,
Right on the ball here, I am just starting out and I have just learnt this, the importance to traffic…You can have all the other aspects to internet down pat, you know a great site etc but with NO visitors…No money.
Keep em coming, look forward to the next video.
I hope your cold gets better soon. I agree with you about traffic. That it is the birth and death of a website. I’m a newbie and I have a website and believe me I’m learning that when you start out with nothing it is hard to get traffic. I realize it’s going to take a while.
I have even sent emails to super affiliates and offered 50% of all sales, but no one bite. I will not give up. I am doing blogs, ppc, social networks, and ezines. I believe it will pick up. I don’t do emails because I don’t have a list yet. That’s because I just started.
Anyway thanks for the video and I hope you feel better.
Hey,
good luck with that cold, I’m just coming out of one myself.
You have opened my eyes completely to the way I have been doing business and I want to thank you.
I can’t keep up with everyone on email, wish I could, but you are definetely at the top of my list to follow and grow with. So, thanks again.
You know, you’re only halfway right about traffic.
No traffic = No Money… True!
But if the traffic doesn’t convert,
it still equals No Money.
You’ve got 17,000 visitors at a cost of over
$700 bucks, but if they aren’t buying,
you’re still out of $700 bucks.
I look forward to your next video.
Best Wishes.

Hi Charles,
Great video with useful tips for aspiring marketers.
I should congratulate you onthe clarity of the video because i have seen many videos by “super affiliates” which are poorly presented and take ages to load because they take their subscribers for granted.
Look forward to your next video.Keep up the good work.

Hello! I am new on the block and my website is the very first I have built. I know! there is much to be done, but I do believe I have some good products and many free stuffs. All is changed over a monthly period.I really enjoy helping others and I have done a Training Package, which helped to start my list off. Just like a store, one needs to change things around. I agree with your video that one needs traffic, but with lots of traffice and a bad product you will not sell. I really believe you have to have 50%/50% on this one. You cannot have one without the other. I like this site and I will come back to read more.
Onward and UP Jenny.B.
P.S. I hope I have not ruffled any feathers. I tell it as it is. LOL

Hi Jennifer
You are right about getting sales. But once you start getting traffic to the site you can then split test your offer.
Your site will only be at really bad the first day. After that by tracking and testing you can start getting better conversions.
Thanks

Hi Carl
You are right about the traffic. But once you start the traffic flowing it because easy to test.
Often I will have 10 or more headlines that are being tested at any given time. This makes it
easy to find the winners fast.
I did make a small killing on that traffic. I was promoting an free iPhone offer. I sent so much traffic
to the offer until I broke the budget of the cpa offer.

Hi Rodney
I’m hope you get a lot out of this new video series that I’m doing.
Right on Charles. I agree with yourself and some of the comments regarding traffic. Like they say, “The money’s in the list.” I agree, you need good copy and a good product, but without traffic, it’s not going to sell anyway. I have no list yet either, as I have spent the past few months just learning and preparing. Like you said , I can buy or leverage traffic until I get subscribers to sign up for a newsletter or something. Maybe you could do a video on list-building. Keep up the good work man. Thanks.
p.s. I thought I had the flu-bug beat, but it hit me Friday as well. Take care.

Traffic is the first step in building a online or offline business that will stand the test of time. But I think that is something that people never really hear.
It seems that the new Guru of the week is always pitching some crap hoping to make a fast buck.
